Department of Biochemistry

 1. Introduction 

The department of Biochemistry of Sylhet M A G Osmani Medical College is located in the northern part of the second floor of the college Building. Since 1993 the department of Biochemistry is an independent department.

The department of Biochemistry is concerned with MBBS, M Phil (Biochemistry) and Biochemistry course of all other M Phil, MD MS discipline as per BMDC approved course curriculum.

 The department has all infrastructures to fulfill the requirement of academic activities. Besides central lecture theatre department has a room which can accommodate 60 students, and is equipped with audiovisual aids like L.C.D. projector and Overhead projection. Department has one practical instruction room for MBBS and for post-grauate student. The department imparts teaching and practical laboratory facilities for MBBS, M Phil, MD and MS students.
